Rose Infusion Therapies

Medical infusions are treatments in which fluids, medications, or nutrients are delivered directly into a patient’s bloodstream through an intravenous (IV) line for rapid and effective absorption.

Specialty Medications

PURPOSE:

Address specific conditions with
targeted therapies.

EXAMPLES:

  • Stelara:
    Plaque Psoriasis (PsO)
    Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA)
    Crohn’s Disease (CD)
    Active Ulcerative Colitis (aUC)
  • Skyrizi:
    PsO
    PsA

Weight Loss

PURPOSE:

GLP-1 Agonist that helps to reduce blood sugar and control appetite.

EXAMPLES:

  • Liraglutide
  • Wegovy
  • Zepbound

USE CASE:

Promotes weight loss. May also be used to maintain weight loss.

Fluid Replacement

PURPOSE:

Restore hydration, electrolyte balance, or blood volume.

EXAMPLES:

  • Normal Saline (0.9% Sodium Chloride): Used for hydration and to dilute other drugs

  • Lactated Ringer’s: Balances electrolytes, often used in surgery or trauma

USE CASE:

Dehydration, shock, or burns.

Vitamin / Hydration

PURPOSE:

Deliver nutrients when a patient can’t eat or absorb food normally.

EXAMPLES:

  • B12: A mix of amino acids, glucose, lipids, vitamins, and minerals

  • Peripheral Parenteral Nutrition (PPN): Less concentrated, for short-term use

USE CASE:

Malnutrition, gastrointestinal disorders, or post-surgical recovery.

Antibiotic Medications

PURPOSE:

Treat severe infections when oral antibiotics aren’t sufficient.

EXAMPLES:

  • Vancomycin: For MRSA or other resistant bacteria

  • Piperacillin-Tazobactam: Broad-spectrum coverage for sepsis or pneumonia

  • Amphotericin B: Antifungal for systemic fungal infections

USE CASE:

Sepsis, endocarditis, or hospital-acquired infections.

Immunotherapy

PURPOSE:

Boost or modulate the immune system.

EXAMPLES:

  • Infliximab: For autoimmune diseases like Crohn’s or rheumatoid arthritis

  • Immunoglobulin (IVIG): Treats immune deficiencies or autoimmune conditions

  • Checkpoint Inhibitors (e.g., Pembrolizumab): For cancer immunotherapy

USE CASE:

Autoimmune disorders, transplant rejection, or cancer.
